My specialties are geochronology, geochemistry, igneous petrogenesis and instrumental analysis. Since August, 2015, I took a position as assistant research scientist in the Institute of Earth Sciences (IES), Academia Sinica and “LAICPMS Laboratory” manager to be in charge of, so far, 2 Agilent Q-ICP-MS, 2 Nu Plasma MC-ICP-MS and 2 related Photon Machines Analyte G2 laser ablation systems. These facilities and developed methods are mainly provided for the geochemistry group of IES to analyze ages and compositions of rocks and minerals. Additionally, I collaborate with domestic and international researchers by using ICP-MS techniques to investigate magmatically compositional variation and tectonic evolution in the subduction zone, orogenic belt and different terranes.
