Clarivate Analytics (formerly the Intellectual Property and Science division of Thomson Reuters) released its annual list of Highly Cited Researchers. Distinguished Research Fellow Sun-Lin Chung, the director of the Institute of Earth Sciences and Academician of Academia Sinica, has been elected as one of the 6,216 highly cited scientists worldwide. The HCR list identifies scientists and social scientists from 21 research fields who produced multiple papers ranking in the top 1% by citations for their field and year of publication, demonstrating significant research influence among their peers.
Among the 6,216 highly cited researchers, including 153 in the field of Geoscience, Dr. Sun-Lin Chung is the only one from Taiwan in the field of geosciences.[Details][Publons]
