My research focuses on developing computational and machine-learning methods for earthquake detection, location, source characterization, and seismic monitoring. I am particularly interested in integrating deep learning, large-scale seismic waveform analysis, and conventional seismological methods to build robust and efficient earthquake monitoring and cataloging systems. My work also explores earthquake early warning, seismic source processes, tectonic structures, and the application of seismic and distributed sensing techniques to non-tectonic sources, including slope failures. More broadly, I aim to advance AI-driven approaches for extracting physical information from large geophysical datasets and improving our understanding and monitoring of dynamic Earth processes.
