The Preparatory Office of the Institute of Earth Sciences, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Academia Sinica, hosted the Symposium on Taiwan Regional Geophysics on May 31, 1978.
The opening speech was delivered by President Qian, Siliang, and more than 80 people from the geoscience community participated.
