Abstract
Geothermal reservoir modelling and simulation have emerged as crucial tools for developing geothermal energy. This presentation will give a brief overview of the recent advancements in geothermal modelling and its real-world applications. In addition to improving geothermal modelling techniques and tools, our research team at the University of Auckland has explored various parameter estimation and uncertainty quantification techniques. These methods have been used to support geothermal development across various stages and in different parts of the world.
