In honor of Dr. Ta-You Wu’s contributions to the advancement of science and technology, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) established the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award. The Award nurtures young researchers by supporting and encouraging the nation’s future academic elite to commit to long-term scholarly research and continuously raise their academic performance.
In the 2025 year, a total of 45 individuals received the Award. Each awardee was presented by the NSTC with a commemorative medal and a cash prize of NT$600,000.
The awardee from the Institute of Earth Sciences is Yunung Nina Lin, Associate Research Fellow.
