Current Research Topic:

  • Earthquake source and structure studies offshore Taiwan by exploiting tremendous data from BATS and CWB, as well as data from innovative land- and sea-going field experiments.

  • Source characteristics of great and small earthquakes
  • Spatial and temporal variations of tectonic stress field
  • Seismogenic characteristics of the subduction zone
  • Seismotectonics of the Taiwan orogenic belt
